Development of Farmer Terms of Trade of Riau Province in October 2025

The Farmer's Net Price Index (NTP) for Riau Province in October 2025 was recorded at 193.71, a 1.21 percent increase compared to 191.38 in September 2025. This increase was due to a 1.27 percent increase in the Farmer Price Received Index (It), while the Farmer Price Paid Index (Ib) increased by 0.05 percent.
In October 2025, six of the ten provinces on Sumatra Island experienced an increase in the Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP). Riau recorded the second-highest NTP compared to other provinces on Sumatra Island, behind Bengkulu. Meanwhile, West Sumatra experienced a 2.92 percent decline in NTP, followed by Aceh with a 0.54 percent decline, the Riau Islands with a 0.49 percent decline, and Bangka Belitung with a 0.06 percent decline.
